Welcome to Hotel-Café ‘t Anker, your home away from home in beautiful Leeuwarden. Our family-owned hotel is located on a quiet, historic street where the Ee river once flowed, right in the heart of the centuries-old and vibrant city center.
At ‘t Anker, we have something for everyone. We offer 21 rooms, ranging from standard *** to budget-friendly * options, a group room for up to 16 people, and a hostel room where backpackers can book single beds. Once you check in, your room is accessible 24/7.
Each room is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Our standard rooms offer extra comfort with a private bathroom and a large design TV, while the budget-friendly rooms come with basic amenities and a shared shower and toilet on the same floor, which you share with up to four other guests. The hostel room can be booked by groups or individuals for up to 18 people. Everything can be booked with or without breakfast.
Our cozy café-restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif, lunch, or dinner, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere until the “late hours.” We are even the proud home of a billiards club that has been around for over a century!
Our hotel is ideally located to explore all the treasures of Leeuwarden. For just 11 € per night, you can use our private parking just 75 meters away, and we also offer a secure bike room in the building. You can even rent a bike from us to explore the city.
